Library Management System :-
| The main objective of this system is to automate all the activities of any Library. The output of the project work deals with the keeping record of the Books, Magazine, News Paper, Members, Management Information System and Stock & inventory performing various types of activities of Library. The objective of this project is to do all those works for which Library may maintain number of registers and lots of human hard work. This software will save lots of money spend in those registers. & Save the time & efforts to maintain those register. This software also helps the management to take design about the new books, Magazine subscriptions, and Fine collection. The project is very flexible and can be modified if the need arises. This software is very easy to use and very user friendly. |

New Book Registration:- This process involves addition of new book's details like book's name, author, publisher, edition, category and serial no. For each new book a record is added to the book database. Book Monitoring:- Book Monitoring involves the issuance and returning of books or any other material like CDs, magazines, Journals & Novels etc. in a library. This module shows all the books issued or returned along with dates of issuances/return and gives the status of availability of book. Book Issue process:- This module is used to issue a book to a student, faculty or to any member of the library. In this process book's details and student's details along with date of issue and specific time limit are added to the database. Book Return Process:- This module enables the student to return the issued book in the given period of time. It also charges per day fine if the book is returned after due date. Request for New Books:- This module is for the librarian. When demand of new books or edition comes then librarian sends a request for new books to the purchase manager. |
